LG launches LG Q6+, LG Q6 and LG Q6α with Fullvision displays
After so many rumours and leaks, LG has finally launched the low-end variant of the LG G6 flagship device called LG Q6 It was also said to be launched as the LG G6 Mini but LG launched it with the LG Q6 name in the new Q series along with the a couple of more devices. The company not only launched the LG Q6 but also launched two more devices in the LG Q series called LG Q6+ and LG Q6α all having different storage and RAM options with other similar specifications. These new devices come with Astro Black and Ice Platinum colour options.
The LG Q6 comes with Astro Black, Ice Platinum, Mystic White and Terra Gold colours, LG Q6α comes with Astro Black, Ice Platinum, and Terra Gold colour options while the LG Q6+ comes with Astro Black, Ice Platinum and Marine Blue colour options. The LG Q6 will be available in key Asian markets starting from August followed by Europe, Latin America and North American markets.
The LG Q6, LG Q6+ and LG Q6α have similar specifications apart from the storage and RAM. The LG Q6α comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage capacity, the LG Q6 comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage capacity and lastly, the LG Q6+ comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity.

Other specs of the LG Q6 devices include a 5.5-inch 18:9 FHD+ FullVision 442ppi display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and are powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor (4 x Cortex A53 1.4GHz + 4 x Cortex A53 1.1GHz) with Adreno 505 GPU. All three devices come with a support of MicroSD card expandable storage of up to 2TB.
The devices run on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box and come with single and Dual SIM options according to the region. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with having 100-degree wide-angle lens.
It is backed up by a 3,000mAh battery and connectivity options available are 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS / GLONASS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack and also have support for FM Radio. It measures 142.5 x 69.3 x 8.1mm and weighs 149 grams. It also comes with a face recognition feature, Google Assistant, Square Camera and Steady Record features.

LG Q6 series Leaks/Teasers
LG started sending the invites for their upcoming event scheduled for July 11 where the company was expected to unveil this new device. The newly launched teaser comes with Polish text that translates to “Premier of new LG smartphone” which means the company is going to unveil the new LG Q6 smartphone at this event. Another leaked image via a Twitter user confirms the name of the LG Q6 launching on July 11th. The official event will start at 6 PM Poland Time on July 11th.
