In an official event today, ZTE’s Nubia launched three new smartphones including Nubia N2 with the new Nubia N and Nubia M series. The three devices the company launched are Nubia N2, Nubia M2 and Nubia M2 Lite with the Nubia M2 featuring a dual camera on the rear panel.
Nubia N2, Nubia M2 and M2 Lite Price
All three devices come with Gold and Black colour options and for pricing, the Nubia N2 is priced at 1999 yuan (around $290), the Nubia M2 with 64GB inbuilt storage is priced at 2699 yuan (around $390) while the 128GB inbuilt storage variant costs 2999 (around $435) and the M2 Lite is priced at 1799 yuan (around $260). The Nubia N2 will be available in China starting April 8th while the Nubia M2 and Nubia M2 Lite will be available for sale starting March 28th. No details are available of these devices’ global debut as of now.
Nubia N2 Specifications
The Nubia N2 comes with a 5.5-inch HD AMOLED display with 90% NTSC colour gamut and 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor with Mali T860 GPU.
It has 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 64GB EMMC5.1 internal storage with MicroSD card expandable storage up to 128GB. It runs on the Nubia 4.0 UI with Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box and supports Hybrid Dual SIM. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with 5P lens and f/2.0 aperture.
It is backed up by a 5000mAh battery with fast charging and connectivity options include 4G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS + GLONASS along with DTS and AW8738 amplifier for audio enhancements. A fingerprint sensor is available on the physical home button on the front. It measures 155 x 75 x 7.9mm and weighs 180 grams.
Nubia M2 Specifications
The Nubia M2 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, over 90% NTSC colour gamut and Corning Gorilla Glass Protection. It comes with a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU and has 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM with 64GB / 128GB internal storage options and expandable storage up to 200GB with microSD card. It runs on the Nubia UI 4.0 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and supports Hybrid Dual SIM.
It features a 13-megapixel + 13-megapixel dual rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, Sapphire glass lenses and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with 5P lens, f/2.0 aperture, 80-degree wide-angle lens. It is backed up by a 3630mAh battery with fast charging and connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS and additional TAS2555 Amplifier, 7.1 channel Dolby audio and Hi-Fi audio for audio enhancement. It also comes with a fingerprint sensor on the front physical home button. It measures 154.5×75.9×7.0mm and weighs 168g.
Nubia M2 Lite Specifications
The M2 Lite comes with a 5.5-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor with Mali T860 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM 32GB storage option and 4GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage with expandable storage up to 128GB with a microSD card.
