Samsung has finally launched the much-awaited Galaxy Note series smartphone Samsung Galaxy Note9 with a bigger display along with Bluetooth S-Pen. The new Galaxy Note9 comes with a horizontal dual rear camera and a fingerprint scanner just below the dual camera. This device has a gigantic 6-4-inch display and runs on the Snapdragon 845 and Exynos 9 Series 9810 processor according to the regions.

It is priced at $999.99 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage variant and $1,249.99 for the 8GB RAM and 512GB inbuilt storage capacity in the United States where it will be available from August 24, 2018. The pre-orders for the device have started in the US. It comes with Midnight Black, Lavender Purple, Metallic Copper with matching S Pen, and Ocean Blue with Yellow S Pen colour options.

The Galaxy Note9 features an improved S Pen stylus that comes with Bluetooth support and has a button on its surface along with a clicker on the bottom that lets its users take selfies and group pictures, pause and play video, and more. It comes with stereo speakers tuned by AKG and also comes with the support of Dolby Atmos. It carries a 6.4-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with 516ppi, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and 2960 × 1440 pixels resolution.

It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with Adreno 630 GPU / Octa-Core Samsung Exynos 9 Series 9810 processor with Mali G72MP18 GPU. It supports 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB internal storage and 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 512GB of internal storage (UFS 2.1) and the storage is expandable up to 512GB with the help of a microSD card.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 runs on the Android 8.1 (Oreo) and supports single / Hybrid Dual SIM options. It features a dual rear camera with a 12-megapixel camera with f/2.4-f/1.5 variable aperture, LED Flash, 960fps super slo-mo along with a 12-megapixel secondary rear camera with f/2.4 aperture. It has an 8-megapixel autofocus front-facing camera with a wide-angle lens and f/1.7 aperture. It has a 4000mAh battery with fast charging both wired and wireless (WPC and PMA) charging. It supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), VHT80 MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 5 (LE up to 2Mbps), GPS with GLONASS, USB 3.1, NFC, MST connectivity options.

The Galaxy Note 9 is water and dust-resistant with IP68 ratings and also comes with stereo speakers tuned by AKG and Dolby Atmos support as well. The device measures 161.9 x 76.4 x 8.8mm and weighs 201 grams while the BLE S Pen measures 5.7 x 4.35 x 106.37mm with 3.1 grams weight. It comes with multiple sensors including an Accelerometer, Barometer, Fingerprint Sensor, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, Hall Sensor, Heart Rate Sensor, Proximity Sensor, RGB Light Sensor, Iris Sensor and Pressure Sensor as well.

The Galaxy Note 9 retail box was leaked online recently, confirming most of the rumoured specifications of the unannounced device. Recently, Samsung also published a promo video of the Galaxy Note 9 on their YouTube channel which was removed later on by the company. According to the leaked retail box images, the new Galaxy Note 9 will carry a 6.4-inch display and will be backed up by a 4000mAh battery. It is rumoured to be priced at 69,990 rubles (around $1,104) for the 128GB storage variant and 89,990 rubles (around $1,420) for the 512GB storage variant in Russia. It was also rumoured to launch with Mystic Black, Engineered Blue and Artisan Copper colour options.

The box suggests that it will run on the Android 8.1 (Oreo) OS with Samsung Experience UI out of the box and will also be available with single/hybrid Dual SIM options according to the region.
