Samsung has launched the new Samsung Galaxy F16 5G smartphone for the Indian market. This device is a rebranded variant of the recently launched Samsung Galaxy M16 5G smartphone. This new device features a Super AMOLED 90Hz display, a powerful 5000 mAh battery, Triple rear cameras, side-mounted fingerprint and 5G connectivity.

The new Samsung Galaxy F16 5G is priced at INR 11,499, including an INR 1000 discount for the 4GB and 128GB inbuilt storage variant. The other regular models include, without any offer, INR 13,999 for 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage and third mode priced at INR 15,499 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage capacity. Many retail stores, offline and online, including the Samsung online store, Amazon India and Flipkart, have already started selling the device from March 13th. Color options available are Vibing Blue, Glam Green and Bling Black.
Samsung Galaxy F16 5G Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy F16 5G features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with an FHD+ (1080×2340 pixels) resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and 16M colors. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 6nm processor with Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU and 2x Cortex-A76 @ 2.4GHz 6x Cortex-A55 @ 2GHz CPU. It has 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM options and only a single storage variant with 128GB inbuilt storage, expandable up to 1.5TB with a dedicated microSD card.
It supports hybrid Dual SIMs (nano + nano / microSD) slots and runs on the Android 14 based One UI 6.0 on top. It has a triple rear camera with a 50-megapixel wide main camera, f/1.8 aperture, Autofocus, a 5-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide secondary lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.2 aperture, Digital Zoom up to 10x and an LED Flash. Video recording support includes FHD (1920 x 1080)@30fps and Slo-mo HD@120fps. It has a 13-megapixel wide front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
It has a 5000mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging support. Connectivity options includes 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2.4GHz+5GHz, VHT80, Bluetooth 5.3/LE, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS, USB Type-C Port v2.0 and NFC support as well. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C audio and bottom ported speakers. It measures 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.9mm and weights 192 grams.
