Indian manufacturer Lava has launched the new Lava Yuva Smart smartphone in the Lava Yuva series today. This new entry-level smartphone features an IPS LCD screen, UNISOC 9863A SoC, Android 14 Go Edition, 3GB RAM, and a decent 5000mAh battery. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader. It has an affordable price tag but no 5G connectivity. This one has stylish looks for a budgeted device. Let’s check the price and specifications.
Lava Yuva Smart Price
The new Lava Yuva Smart is priced at INR 6,000 and is currently available from the Indian retailer Flipkart, with a price tag of INR 6099. It will also be available from other online and offline retailers. The colour options available are Glossy Lavender, Glossy Blue, and Glossy White.
Lava Yuva Smart Specifications
The new Lava Yuva Smart features a 6.75-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) resolution, 60Hz refresh rate and 2.5D Glass. It is powered by an octa-core 1.6 GHz 28nm UNISOC 9863A processor with PowerVR GE8322 GPU. It has 3GB of RAM with additional virtual 3GB RAM. It has 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity which is MicroSD expandable up to 512GB additional storage. It runs on the Android 14 Go Edition, which means that the device will get Android updates faster than the other devices. It supports hybrid dual SIM slots.
Camera
It has a 13-megapixel main rear camera with a secondary AI camera and an LED flash. It also carries a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a bigger 5000mAh battery with 10W wired fast charging support. Connectivity options available are 4G LTE VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, LE, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also comes with FM Radio support and also has a bottom-ported speaker. We also have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It measures 164.96×76.1×8.8mm and weighs 193.3 grams.
Last year in December, Lava launched the new Lava Yuva 2 5G smartphone with better specifications and 5G connectivity. It was launched with mid-range specifications like a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen, octa-core UNISOC T760 SoC, 4GB RAM, Dual rear cameras, Android 14 OS, Dual SIMs, a 5000mAh battery and other mid-range features. Lava Yuva 2 5G and Lava Yuva Smart both have a few features in common, but the new Yuva Smart lacks 5G connectivity.
