Sharp HRO00334, new mid-ranger in the AQUOS series?? Japanese Sharp launched the new Sharp AQUOS R9 and Sharp AQUOS Wish4 smartphones in May. The company is now gearing up to launch another new smartphone soon in the mid-range or entry-level category. A new device has received the FCC certification bearing the model number HRO00334 and has leaked a few of the general specifications of this unannounced smartphone, however, no images of the device were leaked apart from a rear side image showing the antenna details. Let’s check the leaked specs we found in the FCC listing of this new Sharp AQUOS series device.

As per the FCC listing, this new Sharp HRO00334 phone will have 5G connectivity with NR (FR1, FDD) n1/n3/n28 and NR (FR1, TDD) n40/n78 bands along with 4G LTE bands LTE (FDD) B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B8/B12/B17/B28, LTE (TDD) B38/B40/B41 and W-CDMA I/II/V/VIII, GSM 850/900/1800/1900.
As per the above leaked back panel image, the round camera bump shows three cuts, one circle cut for a camera lens, one for the LED flash and the third bigger cut might not have anything. The test reports also confirm that it will support NFC and WiFi IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz). No other specifications were listed in the FCC listing. We must wait for the company to launch this device or for further leaks to confirm the name and other specifications.
Sharp AQUOS R9 specs
To recall, Sharp’s new AQUOS R9 features a bigger 6.5-inch OLED display with FHD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) resolution. Other features include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7+ Generation 3 processor which is equipped with an Adreno GPU. Huge 12gigs of RAM is available for seamless multitasking with the support of 256GB inbuilt storage. It runs the Android 14 OS. Then we have a Dual Leica camera with a 50.3 MP main camera and a 50.3MP secondary camera. It also has another 50.3-megapixel CMOS front camera for selfie lovers.
Next, we have a decent 5,000mAh battery along with 5G connectivity, NFC, BT v5.4, a side fingerprint scanner, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos support and other notable specifications. This device is IPX5/IPX8/IP6X/MIL-STD-810G US Military standards certified making it waterproof, dustproof and shock resistant. The company also launched the new Wish4 smartphone along with the AQUOS R9. The fans are still waiting for the Sharp AQUOS R9 Plus which we can see soon along with this unannounced mid-ranger.
