Samsung has launched the new Samsung Galaxy M05 in the entry-level Galaxy series. This new device has similar specifications to the Samsung Galaxy A05 which includes an LCD display, MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, Dual rear cameras, a 5000mAh battery and no 5G connectivity. This device is launched for the Indian market currently and no news is available about its global debut.

The new Samsung Galaxy M05 is priced at INR 7999 for 4GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage variant and it is currently available from the Samsung India website, Amazon and offline retail stores. It is available in Mint Green colour options only.
Samsung Galaxy M05 Specifications
The new Samsung Galaxy M05 features a 6.7-inch PLS LCD display with an HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) resolution, 60Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 Aspect Ratio. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 12nm processor (Dual 2GHz Cortex-A75 + Hexa 1.8GHz 6x Cortex-A55 CPUs) with up to 1000MHz ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. It has 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.1 inbuilt storage with MicroSD card expandable storage up to 1TB. It runs on the Android 14 OS-based OneUI Core 6.0 and supports Dual SIMs (nano + nano + microSD).
It has a dual rear camera with a 50-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and LED Flash, Digital Zoom up to 10x, 120fps @HD, FHD (1920 x 1080)@60fps video recording and also has an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. There is a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE (B1(2100), B3(1800), B5(850), B7(2600), B8(900), B20(800), B28(700), B38(2600), B40(2300), B41(2500) bands, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2.4GHz+5GHz, VHT80, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, USB Type-C v2.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It measures 168.8 x 78.2 x 8.8mm and weighs 195 grams. Sensors available are Accelerometer, Light Sensor, and Proximity Sensor.
