Vivo has launched another Y series device Vivo Y18i which looks like a rebranded variant of the recently launched Vivo Y03t with similar looks, design and specifications. This new device has been launched for the Indian market. There are a few differences in the specs but those are almost identical in both.
The new Vivo Y18i is a successor to the Vivo Y18 launched in May this year and comes with an upgraded Unisoc T612 12nm processor from the MediaTek Helio G85 12nm found in the Vivo Y18 smartphone. Other features include a 6.56-inch LCD 90Hz display, 528 nits brightness, a 5,000 mAh battery and other specifications. Let’s check the full specs and price of the device next.
Vivo Y18i Price
The new Vivo Y18i is priced at INR 7,999 for India’s 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage variant. This device is available for sale from the official Vivo website with Space Black and Gem Green colour options. The device is also expected to be available on Indian e-commerce websites and offline stores. It has a composite plastic sheet on the back cover.

The new Vivo Y18i features a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with HD (1612 × 720 pixels) resolution, 70% NTSC, 528 nits peak brightness, 60Hz/90Hz refresh rates and 269 PPI. It is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T612 12nm (2×1.8 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55) processor with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. It comes with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 inbuilt storage instead of 128GB found in the Vivo Y03t. This device also has a MicroSD card expandable storage slot with up to 1TB storage.
It has a dual rear camera with a 13-megapixel camera having PDAF, f/2.2 aperture features and a secondary 0.08-megapixel camera with f/3.0 aperture. It supports full HD 1080p@30fps video recording and has an LED flash. Other camera features include Night, Portrait, Photo, Video, Pano, Documents, Slo-mo, Time-lapse, Pro, Live Photo Front: Night, Portrait, Photo, Video and Live Photo. There is a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 wide aperture. It runs on the Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 OS and supports Hybrid Dual-SIMs slots (2 nano SIMs + 1 microSD).
It has a 5,000mAh Li-Ion battery with 15W fast charging support and connectivity options available are 4G FDD-LTE B38/B40/B41 bands and 4G TD-LTE B1/B3/B5/B8 bands, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0 Type-C, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, OTG, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. No NFC and no fingerprint scanner are available for this device just like the Vivo Y03t. It measures 163.63 x 75.58 x 8.39 mm and weighs 185 grams. As Y03t does, this device is also IP54-certified for dust and splash resistance.
