Nothing has launched the new Nothing Phone (2a) Plus which is the successor to the Nothing Phone (2a) smartphone. Nothing claims that this device is made of 100% recycled aluminum for the mid-frame and 100% recycled tin is used on the 5 circuit boards of the phone. The company further mentions that it has used 100% recycled copper foil on the main circuit board, recycled steel on 24 steel stamping parts and over 50% of the plastic parts are sustainably sourced.

The new Nothing Phone 2a Plus has upgraded specifications from the regular Nothing Phone 2a. It has a MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro 5G processor with ARM Mali-G610 MC4 GPU, a bigger 5,000mAh battery and other features. let’s check the price and specifications of the device.

The new Nothing Phone (2a) Plus is priced at INR 27,999 which will give you 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, INR 29,999 will get you 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. The phone is available listed on Flipkart and will be available for sale from 7th August in India. The device will also be available in other regions after the Indian launch.

The new Nothing Phone (2a) Plus features a 6.7-inch flexible AMOLED display with (2412×1084 pixels) FHD+ resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, HDR10+, 10-bit (1.07 billion colours) colour depth, 10-bit colour, 700 nits typical / 1100 nits outdoor / 1300 nits peak brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by an octa-core up to 3GHz MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro 4nm processor with up to 1.3 GHz Mali-G610 MC4 GPU. It comes with 8GB/12GB of LPDD4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 inbuilt storage.

It runs on the Android 14 OS-based Nothing OS 2.6 and supports dual-SIM (nano + nano). It has a dual rear camera with a 50MP 1/1.57″ sensor with f/1.88 aperture, OIS and a secondary 50MP 114° 1/2.76″ ultra-wide camera sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 4K at up to 30 fps, Action Mode. It also has a 50MP 1/2.76″ front camera sensor with f/2.4 aperture. It has a 5000mAh battery with support for 50W wired charging and has an in-display optical fingerprint scanner.

Connectivity options available are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax (2.4GHz/5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC and audio options like USB Type-C Audio and stereo speakers.
