Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Motorola, has launched the new Moto G series smartphone Moto G42 in the Indian market. This new mid-range smartphone features a Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a Snapdragon processor inside. It also has a 5,000mAh battery and runs on the Android 12 OS out of the box.

In India, the Moto G42 is priced at INR 13,999 for the 4GB RAM+ 64GB inbuilt storage variant and will be available via online retailer Flipkart and from offline retail stores starting from July 11th. The company has also launched some launch day offers for the customers which include an INR 1000 instant discount with SBI credit cards, cashback on Reliance Jio recharges worth up to Rs. 2000 and a Rs. 549 discount on annual membership of Zee5. The Motorola Moto G42 features a 6.4-inch FHD+ MaxVision 20:9 aspect ratio AMOLED display with 2400×1080 pixels resolution and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 6nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 610 GPU. It comes with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of built-in storage with expandable storage of up to 1TB with the help of a microSD card slot. It runs on the Android 12 OS with My UX on top of it. It supports Dual SIM (nano + nano + microSD) as well.
