The budgeted Poco series smartphone POCO C3 has been announced for the Indian market today by Xiaomi where it is priced at INR 7499 only. The Poco C3 comes with the same specifications as the Redmi 9C smartphone. The Poco C3 has a triple rear camera, a water-drop display, and a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support. It features a two-tone design and doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner, however, the device supports the face unlock feature.
The POCO C3 is priced at INR 7499 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB inbuilt storage variant and INR 8499 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant. It will be available from the eCommerce website Flipkart during the Big Billion Days sale from October 16th with Arctic Blue, Lime Green, and Matte Black colour options.
The POCO C3 features a 6.43-inch HD+ 20:9 IPS LCD Dot Drop screen with Panda Glass Screen Protection, 1500:1 Contrast Ratio, 70.8% NTSC Ratio, and 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, and is powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
It has 3GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 32GB (eMMC 5.1) internal storage option and 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB (eMMC 5.1) inbuilt storage options with both variants supporting expandable storage up to 512GB with dedicated microSD card slot. It runs on Android 10 with MIUI 12 OS out of the box and comes with Dual SIM (nano + nano + microSD) support.
It has a triple rear camera with a 13-megapixel main camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro 4cm camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. It also has a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12μm Pixel Size, Face Recognition, HDR, AI Portrait Mode, Screen Flash, Selfie Timer, Portrait Selfies, and Palm Shutter.
This phone has a 5000mAh battery with 10w charging and comes with Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, micro USB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack connectivity options, and FM Radio support too. The device also comes with a splashproof P2i coating. It measures 164.9×77.07×9.0mm and weighs 196g. Sensors available are ambient light sensors, proximity sensors, and accelerometers.
