Nokia has announced a couple of new smartphones today the names Nokia 3.4 and Nokia 2.4 with upgraded specifications from its predecessors and also launched the new Nokia 8.4 5G smartphone for the global market today. The new budget Nokia 3.4 and Nokia 2.4 comes with bigger displays, and batteries and are pre-loaded with the Android One OS with Android 10 and also include OS upgrades to Android 11 and Android 12 operating systems whenever available.
The Nokia 3.4 is priced at 159 Euros (around $186) and will be available from early October with Fjord, Dusk, and Charcoal colours, while the Nokia 2.4 is priced at 119 Euros (around $139) and will be available starting from the end of September with Dusk, Charcoal and Fjord colours. Talking the Nokia 8.3 5G was announced back in March and is priced at 599 Euros for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and 649 Euros for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.
Nokia 3.4 features a 3D nano-textured rear cover and has a fully recyclable diecast metal chassis. It has a 6.39-inch HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio 2.5D curved glass display, 400 nits (Typ.) / 300 nits (min.) brightness, 70% NTSC colour gamut and 720 x 1560 pixels resolution. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 460nm 11nm Mobile Platform (1.8GHz x 4+1.6GHz x 4 Kryo 240 CPUs) with 600MHz Adreno 610 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM with 32GB / 64GB inbuilt storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage options with expandable storage up to 512GB with a microSD card.
It comes with Dual SIM (nano + nano + microSD) and runs on Android 10 Android One which is upgradable to Android 11 and 12 OS in the future. It has a triple rear camera with a 13-megapixel main camera with LED flash, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. There is a 4000mAh battery and supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, NFC, 3.5 mm headphone jack connectivity options, and FM Radio support as well. It measures 160.97 x 75.99 x 8.7mm and weighs 180g.
Nokia 2.4 features a 3D nano-textured cover with a 6.5-inch HD+ 20:9 aspect ratio 2.5D curved glass display with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution and is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) 12nm processor with 650MHz IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. it comes with 2GB of RAM with 32GB storage and 3GB RAM with 64GB storage variants with expandable storage up to 512GB with a microSD card. It comes with Dual SIM (nano + nano + microSD) slots and runs on the Android 10 OS upgradable to Android 11 and 12.
It has a dual rear camera with a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash with f/2.2 aperture and a secondary 2-megapixel camera. It also has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.4 aperture. It is powered by an Octa-Core (1 x 2.4GHz + 1 x 2.2GHz + 6 x 1.8GHz Kryo 475 CPUs) Snapdragon 765G 7nm EUV Mobile Platform with Adreno 620 GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM + 64GB storage and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM + 128GB storage variants with expandable storage with a MicroSD card. It runs on Android 10 and will get Android 11 and Android 12 upgrades as well and supports single / Dual SIM options.
