Samsung has finally launched the next generation Galaxy series smartphones Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra in an official event in San Francisco. These new smartphones come with Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 990 SoC depending on the market and comes with 5G support on some variants with Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 / Exynos 5123 modems. The Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra will be available for pre-order from February 21st and will go on sale starting from March 6th. The Galaxy S20 LTE variant with 128GB storage is priced at £799 (around $1,035) in the UK or €899 (around $981), Galaxy S20 with 5G and 128GB storage is priced at $999.99 or £899 or €999, Galaxy S20+ with LTE and 128GB storage is priced at 79,990 Russian Ruble (around $1,260), Galaxy S20+ 5G with 128GB storage is priced at $1,199.99, while the Galaxy S20+ 5G with 512GB storage will cost $1,299.99. The Galaxy S20 Ultra 4G with 12GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at 99,990 Russian Ruble (around $1,580), Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G with 12GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at $1399.99, whereas, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G with 16GB RAM + 512GB storage will cost you $1499.99.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 comes with a 6.2-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with Infinity-O Display, HDR10+, 563 PPI, 120Hz refresh rate and 3200 × 1440 pixels resolution whereas the Samsung Galaxy S20 comes with a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O Display with HDR10+, 120Hz refresh rate and 3200 × 1440 pixels resolution. Both are powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 7nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 650 GPU / Octa-Core Samsung Exynos 990 7nm EUV processor with ARM Mali-G77MP11 GPU. The Galaxy S20 comes with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 12GB LPDDR5 RAM for 5G variants with 128GB inbuilt storage (UFS 3.0) and expandable storage up to 1TB with microSD card slot.
The Galaxy S20+ comes with 8GB or 12GB (for 5G variants) LPDDR5 RAM options and 128GB /256 (5G) / 512GB (5G) inbuilt storage (UFS 3.0) options and expandable storage up to 1TB with microSD card. It runs on the Android 10 with OneUI 2.0 and comes with single / Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD) support. Both the devices comes with a triple rear camera with a 12-megapixel Dual Pixel camera with LED Flash, f/1.8 aperture, Super Speed Dual Pixel AF, OIS, a 64-megapixel telephoto lens with 76° FoV, f/2.0 aperture, OIS, Hybrid Optic Zoom 3X, Super-Resolution Zoom up to 30X, and a 12-megapixel 120° Ultra Wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture and S20+ comes with Depth Vision camera as well.
