Samsung announces Galaxy A60 with triple rear cameras and Galaxy A40s with Infinity-V display

Samsung has announced two new smartphones Samsung Galaxy A60 and Samsung Galaxy A40s in the premium Galaxy A series. The Galaxy A60 has the upgraded specifications from the Galaxy A50 smartphone, while the Galaxy A40s comes with mid-range specifications. The Galaxy A60 comes with a gradient back, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3500mAh battery with fast charging support, while the Galaxy A40s has a 5000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging and has similar specifications and looks like the Galaxy M30 smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy A60 is priced at 1999 yuan (around $298) with Black, Blue and Orange colour options and will go on sale in China this April. The Galaxy A40s is priced at 1499 yuan (around $223) with Black, Blue and Gold colour options and will go on sale in China soon.

Samsung Galaxy A60 Specs

The Samsung Galaxy A60 features a 6.3-inch Full HD+  Infinity-O LCD with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 675 Mobile Platform with Adreno 612 GPU. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage capacity that is expandable up to 512GB with the help of a micro SD card. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with Samsung One UI on top and supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD) slots.

It has a triple rear camera with a 32-megapixel camera with LED flash with f/1.7 aperture, a 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and an 8-megapixel 123° ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. It also has a 16-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It has a 3500mAh battery with fast charging and supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), VHT80, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, USB Type-C audio connectivity options and Dolby Atmos as well. It has a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. It measures 155.2  x 73.9 x 7.9mm and weighs 162 grams.

The Samsung Galaxy A40s features a 6.4-inch Full HD+  Infinity-O LCD with 1560 × 720 pixels resolution and is powered by an Octa-Core (1.8GHz dual + 1.6GHz Hexa) Exynos 7904 14nm processor with Mali-G71 GPU. It comes with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity that is expandable up to 512GB with the help of a micro SD card. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with Samsung One UI on top and supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD) slots.

It has a triple rear camera with a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture, a 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5-megapixel 123° ultra-wide angle camera. It also has a 16-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It has a 5000mAh battery with fast charging and supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack connectivity options and FM Radio, Dolby Atmos as well. It has a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. It measures 158.4×74.9×7.4mm and weighs 174 grams.
