Chinese Meizu has launched the new flagship Note series smartphone Meizu Note 9 which comes with mid-range specifications and a top-end design. The main highlight of the Meizu Note 9 is its 48-megapixel rear camera which is one of the dual cameras on the rear side, the secondary camera is a 5-megapixel sensor. The Note 9 smartphone comes with a G3 curved design and features a back cover that comes with a glass texture which is made of a high-gloss porcelain stacking process. The device has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor that can unlock the phone in just 0.2 seconds.
The Meizu Note 9 is priced at 1398 yuan (around $208) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage option and 1598 yuan (around $237) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage variant and the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage as well. It will be available in China starting from March 11th. It comes in Black, White, and Sparkling Blue colour. It is the successor to last year’s Meizu Note 8 smartphone.

The Meizu Note 9 features a 6.2-inch Full HD+ 18.7:9 2.5D curved glass waterdrop notch display with 89.23% screen-to-body ratio, 450 nits brightness and 2244×1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 675 Mobile Platform with Adreno 612 GPU. The device comes with 5.35mm bottom, 3mm top, and 3.1mm narrow side bezels. It comes with 4GB / 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB / 128GB of internal storage capacity.
The device runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with Flyme 7.2 and supports Dual SIMs. It has a dual rear camera with a 48-megapixel camera with dual LED flash, Samsung GM1 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 6P lens, and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. It has a 20-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens and face recognition 3.0 support. It has a 4000mAh battery with fast charging support and comes with Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack connectivity options. It has a fingerprint sensor on the rear side. It measures 153.1×74.4×8.65mm and weighs 169.7 grams.
To recall, the Meizu Note 8 features a 6-inch Full HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 632 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage capacity that is further expandable up to 128GB additional storage with the help of a microSD card slot. It runs on the Android 8.1 (Oreo) based Flyme OS 7 out of the box and also supports Dual SIMs.
It has a dual rear camera with a 12-megapixel camera with LED flash, Sony IMX362 sensor, f/1.9 aperture, Dual PD autofocus, and a 6P lens with a secondary 5-megapixel camera for portrait shots. It also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It has a 3600mAh battery with mCharge fast charging support and comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS + GLONASS connectivity options. It has a fingerprint sensor on the rear side. It measures 153.64×75.56×7.95mm and weighs 168 grams.
