Sharp has launched the new SHARP Aquos Zero smartphone that comes with a new Snapdragon 845 processor but has a single rear camera only. The SHARP Aquos Zero will be available in Japan at the 2018 end and the pricing and availability details of the device will be announced later. It has a fingerprint scanner available on the rear side and also comes with the face unlock feature.

It has a bigger 6.22-inch WQHD+ OLED display with a huge notch and comes with support for Dolby Atmos and DCI-P3 colour space. Another good thing about the phone is that it runs on the Android 9.0 Pie OS out of the box. Let’s check out the full specifications of the device next.

The SHARP Aquos Zero features a 6.22-inch WQHD+ OLED display, 1 million: 1, 100% DCI-P3 standard, Rich Color Technology Mobile, Dolby Vision and 1440×2992 pixels resolution. It is powered by the 2.6 GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU. It comes with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM along with 128GB of inbuilt storage capacity and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) out of the box.

It has a single 22.6-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a 3,130mAh battery and supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), GPS and other connectivity options. It has a fingerprint sensor on the rear side and comes with water and dust-resistant features with IPX5/IPX8/IP6X certification. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack, stereophonic technology, and Dolby Atmos additional features. It measures 154 x 73 x 8.8 mm and weighs 146 grams.

Sharp is also going to launch the new Razer Phone 2 on October 10 at an official event. The device was also listed by the AnTuTu benchmark database which has already confirmed most of the specifications of the device. According to the device listing at AnTuTu and rumours, the Razer Phone 2 will feature a 5.7-inch QHD Sharp IGZO display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and support for Qualcomm Q-Sync.

It comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage capacity. It will run on the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU and runs out of the box on Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box. It has scored 283,397 points on the AnTuTu benchmark. No other details about the device were revealed by AnTuTu apart from above.
