LG Q7 launched.
Yesterday, LG launched two new devices LG G7 One and LG G7 Fit with LG G7 One running the Android One OS out of the box. Today, the company launched the new Q series smartphone LG Q7 in India which is the successor to last year’s LG Q6. The new LG Q7 comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio 5.5-inch display and is powered by the MediaTek processor. it runs on Android Oreo 8.0 Oreo with LG UX and comes with Aurora Black and Moroccan Blue colour options. It is priced at Rs. 15990 (around $227) and will be available in India starting from September 1st. Let’s now check out the specifications of this device.
LG Q7 specs
The new LG Q7 features a 5.5-inch 18:9 FHD+ FullVision, 442ppi display and 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750S (4 x 1.5GHz A53 + 4 x 1.0GHz A53) processor with Mali T860 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage capacity that is further expandable up to 2TB with the help of a microSD card. It runs on the Android 8.0 (Oreo) OS with LG UX on top out of the box. It comes with Dual SIM support in India.
It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, and PDAF and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It carries a 3,000mAh built-in battery with fast charging and comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS / GLONASS, USB Type-C 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack connectivity options with additional features such as FM Radio, Hi-Fi audio, and DTS:X 3D surround sound. This device is water and dust-resistant (IP68) and is MIL-STD 810G certified. It measures 143.8 x 69.3 x 8.4mm and weighs 145 grams.
LG yesterday launched the variant of the LG G7 ThinQ with the name LG G7 One that runs on the Android One OS. It carries a 6.1-inch 19.5:9 FullVision Super Bright IPS display with 3120 x 1440 pixels resolution and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU. It comes with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 32GB of (UFS 2.1) internal storage capacity that is further expandable up to 2TB with the help of a microSD card.
It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Android One ensuring the latest Android updates on time. It features a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.6 aperture, 71-degree wide-angle lens, LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera with 80-degree wide-angle lens, f/1.9 aperture. It has a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support and comes with connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack and audio enhancement features such as 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC, Boombox Speaker, and FM Radio support as well.
It has a fingerprint sensor on the rear side and also has a dedicated Google Assistant button. The G7 One is water and dust-resistant with IP68 ratings and also MIL-STD 810G certified. It measures 153.2 x 71.9 x 7.9mm and weighs 156 grams.
