LG announces LG G7 One Android One and LG G7 Fit smartphones

LG has announced two new smartphones today with bigger 6.1-inch displays and out of these two, the LG G7 One comes with Android One out of the box whereas, the LG G7 Fit comes with Android 8.1 with LG UX on top. The price of both devices will be revealed by the company near the launch and both will be showcased at the IFA event this week.

The LG G7 One comes with New Aurora Black and New Moroccan Blue colour options while the LG G7 Fit will be available with New Platinum Gray and New Aurora Black colour options. Both the LG G7 One and G7 Fit come with a singular camera on the rear side and have notched displays.

The LG G7 One features a 6.1-inch 19.5:9 FullVision Super Bright IPS display with 3120 x 1440 pixels resolution and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU. It comes with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 32GB of (UFS 2.1) internal storage capacity that is further expandable up to 2TB with the help of a microSD card. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Android One ensuring the latest Android updates on time.

It features a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.6 aperture, 71-degree wide-angle lens, LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera with 80-degree wide-angle lens,  f/1.9 aperture. It has a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support and comes with connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack and audio enhancement features such as 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC, Boombox Speaker, and FM Radio support as well.

It has a fingerprint sensor on the rear side and also has a dedicated Google Assistant button. The G7 One is water and dust-resistant with IP68 ratings and also MIL-STD 810G certified. It measures 153.2 x 71.9 x 7.9mm and weighs 156 grams.

The LG G7 Fit features a 6.1-inch 19.5:9 FullVision Super Bright IPS display with 3120 x 1440 pixels resolution and is powered by a Quad-core Snapdragon 821 Mobile Platform with Adreno 530 GPU. It has 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 32GB / 64GB (UFS 2.1) inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 2TB with the microSD card. It runs on the Android 8.1 (Oreo) with LG UX. It features a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 76-degree wide-angle lens, LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera with 80-degree wide-angle lens, f/1.9 aperture.

It has a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and comes with 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible), 3.5mm audio jack and audio features including 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC, Boombox Speaker, FM Radio and a fingerprint sensor on the back as well.
