Lenovo Owned Motorola is going to launch the new Moto E series flagship device Moto E5 Plus in an official event on July 10 in India. The company has already launched the Moto E5 Plus in April followed by the G6 series and Moto Z3 Play in India last month. The company has started sending the invites for the official event on July 10 but hasn’t confirmed what device it will launch in the event which is likely to be the Moto E5 Plus smartphone.
The Moto E5 Plus will be sold exclusively on Amazon India and will be offered with lots of offers and cashback offers as well. The pricing of the device is not known yet but we can expect some leaks about its pricing in the upcoming days.
The Moto E5 Plus is expected to launch with a 6-inch HD+ 18:9 IPS display with 1440 × 720 pixels resolution and will be powered by a 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 Mobile Platform with Adreno 308 GPU / 1.4GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 Mobile Platform with Adreno 505 GPU. It will have multiple variants for the Indian market as well with 2GB RAM + 16GB internal storage, 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and expandable storage up to 256GB with a microSD card slot. It will run on the Android 8.0 (Oreo) OS out of the box and will have Dual SIM support as well.
It will have a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1.25um pixel size, Laser Autofocus, and PDAF and will have a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash. The device will be backed up by a 5000mAh battery and will have connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack and will also have a front-ported speaker and dual microphones. A fingerprint scanner will be available on the rear side of the M logo. It measures 160.9 x 75.3 x 9.35 mm and weighs 197 grams. It comes with a P2i water-repellent nano-coating.
