ZenFone 5 Lite is coming? We already know that ASUS will be present at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona to renew its line of ZenFone smartphones with the new Zenfone 5 series devices. A little over a week ago, one of the members of this family was leaked through the manufacturer’s manual, revealing most of its details and a clear resemblance to Apple’s iPhone X. Today, another of the smartphones from this Zenfone 5 family breaks its silence in a leaked image that reveals the details of its design and some of the specifications.
Evan Blass has leaked one of the promotional images that will be used to promote the device called Asus Zenfone 5 Lite and it will be the lite variant of the flagship Zenfone 5 smartphone that is expected to launch with a similar look to the iPhone X along with a display cutout on the front.

Just take a first look at the image provided by evleaks via his tweet that confirms the change of direction at the design level that ASUS will carry out with this generation of its ZenFone line. For the first time, the Taiwanese terminals will have a screen of reduced frames with an 18:9 display with a Full HD+ resolution. But the main attraction of this device lies in its photographic section.
According to Evan Blass, the Zenfone 5 lite will carry a dual camera at the rear side and a dual camera at the front. According to him, the Zenfone 5 Lite will feature a dual camera on the rear side with dual 16-megapixel sensors. The front-facing camera will carry a dual camera having dual 20-megapixel sensors. the Zenfone 5 lite will be available in three color options that will Midnight Black, Moonlight White and Rouge Red.
The flagship Zenfone 5, on the other hand, is expected to launch with a 5 .7-inch bezel-less display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a dual rear camera setup. The device will have thin bezels and a fingerprint scanner will be available at the back of the phone. At the top of the phone on the front, the device will have a front camera, sensors, an earpiece and a notification light.
Another device from the Zenfone 5 series, called Asus ZenFone 5 Max has also been spotted in the works as it was listed by WiFi alliance with model number ASUS X00QD and confirmed that it will have Android 8.0 Oreo OS out of the box and will have a dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi support.
