After rumours and leaked images, HTC has finally launched the HTC U11 EYEs smartphone today whose launch date was already leaked out by @evleaks a few days back. Interested users can pre-order the device from HTC Taiwan’s online eStore and it will be available for sale starting February 1st in the country. No details are available about its global debut as of now.

The HTC U11 EYEs is priced at NT$ 14,900 (around $504) and it comes with Red, Silver and Black colour options. It has a bigger 6-inch display and a bigger battery with a Quick Charge feature for fast charging.

The HTC U11 EYEs also comes with the Edge Sense technology for squeeze interaction that was available with HTC U11 and U11+ previously. It features a 6-inch Full HD+ Super LCD 3 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution. It is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 652 64-bit Mobile Platform with Adreno 510 GPU and has 4GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage capacity that is further expandable with microSD up to 128GB. It runs on the Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) OS out of the box with HTC Sense UI on top and supports Dual SIMs as well.
It features a 12-megapixel UltraPixel 3 rear camera with Dual LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), BSI sensor, OIS, f/1.7 aperture, 4K video recording and has a dual front-facing camera with 5-megapixel + 5-megapixel cameras with f/2.2 aperture, 80-degree wide-angle lens, Real-time bokeh effects. It is powered by a 3930mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and has a fingerprint sensor available on the rear side.
It is t is also dust and water-resistant with IP67 ratings and comes with 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS with GLONASS, USB 2.0 Type-C, USB Type-C audio, HTC USonic with Active Noise Cancellation, Hi-Res audio certified features as well. It measures 157.9 x 74.99 x 8.5 mm and weighs 185 grams.
Evan Blass also confirmed in the past that HTC might launch a new mid-range smartphone rumored as HTC U11 EYEs on January 15 which will be the downgraded variant of the HTC U11 Plus smartphone. He has completely revealed the design and specifications of the HTC U11 EYEs smartphone by leaking the images of the device in his tweet. This new device was codenamed “Harmony” as we saw in its previous leaks and was expected to be launched as the next HTC U series flagship, but now Evan Blass has removed every confusion about this smartphone in his tweet.
