Huawei’s Honor division has just announced its upcoming event on December 21st where the company is going to launch the new Honor 9 Youth Edition smartphone which was previously spotted listed by TENAA confirming the specifications and images of the device.

China Telecom has also listed the device on their portal priced at 1999 Yuan (around $303) for the 4GB RAM + 32GB inbuilt storage capacity while the 4GB RAM + 64GB of inbuilt storage variant will cost 2399 yuan (around $363).
The main highlight of the Honor 9 Youth Edition is its dual cameras on both the rear and front. The TENAA listing has revealed that the device will carry four cameras with two on the front and two on the back. Now, the China Telecom listing has revealed the same.
Honor 9 Youth Edition Specs at TENAA
According to the TENAA listing, the new Honor 9 Youth Edition will feature a 5.65-inch full-HD+ display with 2160×1080 pixels resolution. It will be powered by the 2.36GHz octa-core Kirin 659 processor and will have 4GB RAM with 32GB / 64GB inbuilt storage option and expandable storage with a MicroSD card with up to 256GB of additional storage capacity. It runs on the Android 8.0.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 on top and will support a hybrid dual-SIM option. It will feature a dual rear camera with 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel cameras and the same dual camera on the front with 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors.
The device comes with a glass back and will also have a 3.5mm audio jack. It will have a built-in 3000mAh battery according to China Telecom listing while it was 100mAh less on TENAA where it was showing it will have a 2900mAh battery. It will carry connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Micro USB 2.0HS, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and others. A fingerprint scanner will also be available on the rear side of the device. It measures 151×71.9×7.6 mm and weighs 149 grams. It will support multiple colour options such as Magic Night Black, Magic Ocean Blue, Pearl White and Seagull Gray according to the China Telecom listing.
