Looks like Samsung is working on a new variant of the Samsung Galaxy On series device Galaxy On7 Prime that was launched in the UAE and was launched in other countries as Galaxy J7 Prime and has the same model number SM-G610F. Now the Korean giant is working on a new variant of the device with model number SM-G611F which might be launched as Galaxy On7 Prime 2018 in UAE and Galaxy J7 Prime 2018 in other markets if we check the launch pattern of the company.

The FCC documents, as usual, don’t have much to say about the device and come with different device tests including LTE tests, Bluetooth tests and others. There are no images and full specifications of the device available in the FCC documents.

However, one of the FCC approval documents does confirm the name of the device as Galaxy On7 Prime which is shown in a system settings screenshot available in the approval documents. The device getting the FCC approval comes with the serial number R38JA06J6SA. The FCC documents further confirm that will have a dual SIM variant with an SM-G611F/DS model number and will have a non-removable battery but the size of the battery is still unknown.

It will feature connectivity options such as Wi-Fi Direct (Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz), 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, WiFi and other options as well. We have to wait for upcoming leaks about the device to get more details on the specifications of the device.

Galaxy On7 Prime 2018 Geekbench

According to the Geekbench benchmark test, the Galaxy on7 Prime with model number SM-G611F will be powered by a 1.59GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor with 4GB of RAM. It will run on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box. It scored 732 points in the single-core test and 3633 points in the multi-core test. Other details about the device specification are not listed in the benchmark listing for the device.

It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.9 aperture and LED flash and there is an 8-megapixel front camera also available with f/1.9 aperture. It is backed up by a 3300mAh battery and connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, Micro-USB, OTG and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 151.5×74.9×8.1mm and weighs 167 grams. Colour options include Gold and Black.
