HTC has launched two devices today out of which is the HTC U11 Life and the other one is the high-end HTC U11+. The new HTC U11+ comes with Edge Sense and has a bigger 6-inch display while the U11 has a 5.5-inch display. The U11+ has a fingerprint scanner on the rear side while the U11 has it on the front facing home button. It runs on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo with Sense UI on top and also comes with both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant support. The HTC U11+ is priced at Ā£699 (around $925) for the 6GB + 128GB internal storage option.
It comes with Ceramic Black and Amazing Silver colour options and there is also a Translucent Black colour option available with a transparent back. The HTC U11+ will be available from November 20th in the UK and it will also be available in other markets as well. In Europe, it will be available with a price tag of ā¬799. Unfortunately, It won’t be available in the United States as it will only be available in Europe, Asia and the rest of the world.

The HTC U11+ features a 6-inch Quad HD+ Super LCD 6 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 2880 x 1440 pixels resolution and is powered by a 2.45GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM + 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage options and it also supports expandable storage up to 2TB with microSD card. It runs on the Android 8.0 Oreo with HTC Sense U.I.
It features a 12-megapixel UltraPixel 3 rear camera with Dual LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), BSI sensor, OIS, f/1.7 aperture, 1.4Ī¼m pixel, 4K video recording, 3D Audio and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, BSI sensor, 85Ā° field of view, 1080p video recording.
It is backed up by a 3930mAh built-in battery with QuickCharge 3.0 feature and comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 & 5GHz), NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 and has a fingerprint sensor on the rear side. It also comes with HTC USonic with Active Noise Cancellation, Hi-Res audio certified and HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi edition. It also comes with water and dust-resistant features with IP68 ratings. It measures 158.5 x 74.9 x 8.5mm and weighs 188 grams.
The HTC U11 Plus was spotted at TENAA in China which revealed the images of the device. The TENAA listing for the device did not have any specifications listed, but, the TENAA listing for the device confirmed the model numberĀ HTC 2Q4D200 and the leaked images of the device revealed the large 6-inch POLED curved display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device comes with a fingerprint scanner on the rear side instead of the front as we saw on HTC U11. The volume buttons and power buttons are on the right side of the device and the rear camera comes with a dual tone dual LED flash.
The ‘HTC’ logo is available below the fingerprint scanner on the rear panel and the back panel also comes with curved edges. A Dutch retailer has also listed the smartphone on their website with all the specifications and images of the device. The device was listed by retailer Belsimpel with a price tag of 799 Euros and the device is listed with two color options Black and Translucent Black. It also confirms that the two new devices will be available in several regions after the launch. The HTC U11 Plus will have Dual SIM support according to the Dutch retailer.
