Gionee M2018 is coming?? Gionee launched their massive battery-powered smartphone Gionee M2017 last year in China with a massive 7000mAh battery and was priced aggressively in the country with a price tag of Yuan 6999 (around $1007).

Looks like the company is going to announce another variant of the device with downgraded specifications but with the name Gionee M2018 that sounds to be a successor to the Gionee M2017 smartphone, but it’s not a successor to the M2017 but is a, you can say, a mini version of the M2017 as it has a 3000mAh battery and has 50% lesser amount of RAM with an HD resolution display. This move might be taken by the company because of the low sales of Gionee M2017.

It measures 156 × 78 × 10.8 mm and weighs 267 grams. It comes with Black, black gold and brown colour options. It comes with a fingerprint scanner on the front panel below the display and the whole design looks similar to the M2017 smartphone.
