Nokia TA-1034, TA-1010 at TENAA
Looks like HMD Global is all set to launch two more new Nokia-flavored feature phones soon as two new feature phones from the company have received the TENAA certification in China. The two devices come with model numbers TA-1034 and TA-1010 and the interesting thing is that these devices look cheaper than the Nokia 3310 2017 as these new devices don’t have rear and front cameras if we check the leaked images of both the devices in the TENAA listings.
Both the new Nokia phones have a similar design but the Nokia TA-1034 comes with a Dual SIM option and there is no other difference between both. Both the phones might be the new variants of the Nokia 3310 with lower specs but we have to wait for the same.
The TENAA listings for both devices don’t have the details about their full specifications but we have the images of both handsets. To recall, the Nokia 3310 was launched back at the MWC 2017 event in February, it comes with a 2.4-inch display with a polarized layer and it has 16MB internal storage with MicroSD card expandable storage up to 32GB.
It features a 2-megapixel rear camera and has a 1200 mAh removable battery. We have 2G connectivity and Single-SIM + Dual-SIM support with FM Radio, MP3 Player, and Bluetooth 3.0 options as well. It runs on the Nokia Series 30+ OS and measures 15.6 x 51 x 12.8 mm.
The Nokia 3310 was priced at 49 Euros at the time of its launch and we can expect a lower price for these two new Nokia feature phones. Nokia 3310 2017 is still not available for sale in the Chinese market and we can expect that the company will soon launch it in China along with these two new budgeted feature phones.
As for the high-end smartphones zone, Nokia is rumoured to be working on the flagship Nokia 9 smartphone that will be Android based and we have already seen the device in several leaks online. The Nokia 9 is expected to come with a 5.4-inch QHD resolution display and will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor with the Adreno 540 GPU. It will have 4GB or 8GB of RAM.
It will carry 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity and will feature a dual 13-megapixel rear camera setup. It is expected to have an iris scanner and a fingerprint scanner will be available on the physical home button on the front just like the other Nokia devices released already. It will be backed up by a 3800 mAh battery and will also have Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4. It will be IP68-certified for water and dust resistance.
