OPPO R11 and Oppo R11 Plus launched with dual rear cameras

In an official event, Oppo has finally launched its new flagships OPPO R11 and R11 Plus in China. The company already listed the Oppo R11 on the official website ahead of the launch event a few days back and was expected to launch both devices today in an official event. The Oppo R11 and R11 Plus come with Black, Gold and Rose Gold colour options however, the company hasn’t announced the pricing and availability details of the device and is expected to reveal them soon.

Both devices’ global availability and pricing details are currently unknown and will be announced soon by the company. The Oppo R11 and R11 Plus come with a full metal unibody design and the Plus variant comes with a larger 6-inch display.

OPPO R11 Specs

The Oppo R11 was already spotted listed at official website with specifications such as a 5.5-inch AMOLED full-HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 14nm processor(Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU and comes with 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage capacity that is further expandable with microSD slot.

It runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat with ColorOS and supports a Hybrid Dual SIM slot. It features a dual rear camera with a 20-megapixel camera a dual-tone LED flash and a 16-megapixel camera as well. It comes with a 20-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie lovers. It is backed up by a 2900mAh battery and comes with connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS + GLONASS. It also comes with a fingerprint scanner on the physical home button on the front. It measures 154.5 × 74.8 × 6.8mm and weighs 150 grams.

Chinese TENAA listed the Oppo R11 Plus in the past. It is launched with a 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 14nm processor (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU. It comes with a RAM boost and has 6GB of RAM with the same 64GB internal storage capacity that is expandable with a microSD card slot. It runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with ColorOS and comes with a hybrid Dual SIM slot as well.

It features a dual rear camera which includes a 16-megapixel camera with dual-tone LED Flash, f/1.7 aperture, PDAF, 6P lens, Sony IMX398 sensor and a 20-megapixel camera with f/2.6 aperture, 5P lens, Sony IMX350 sensor. It also has a 20-megapixel selfie-focused front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the front-facing physical home button below the display. It is backed up by a 4000mAh battery and has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS connectivity options. It measures 165.8 × 81.5 × 7.8mm and weighs 188 grams.

OPPO R11 Geekbench

OPPO R11 also got listed on GeekBench with the latest Qualcomm flagship mobile processor, the Snapdragon 835 clocked at 1.90GHz, which is present on devices like the OnePlus 5, and Xiaomi Mi6 and leaves no doubt in proving its capabilities in terms of efficient performance. Oppo also confirmed via an official teaser on Weibo that it will launch its new smartphones Oppo R11 and Oppo R11 Plus in an official event on June 10 at the Shenzhen Universiade Sports Centre in China and has also launched a mini-site for the R11 launch.

The Oppo R11 was listed at TENAA with Oppo R11 and Oppo R11 variants with identical specifications. It features a 5.5-inch full-HD AMOLED display with 1920 × 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor that might be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC with Adreno 512 GPU as seen at AnTuTu listing. It comes with 4GB of RAM and comes with 64GB inbuilt storage capacity and MicroSD card expandable storage up to 128 GB. It runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box and will also support dual-SIMs.

It comes with a dual rear camera with a 20-megapixel + 16-megapixel rear camera along with LED flash and 2x optical zoom and it also comes with a 20-megapixel front-facing camera as well for selfie lovers. It is backed up by a 2900mAh battery and comes with 4G LTE with VoLTE, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth and other options as well. It measures 154.5 × 74.8 × 6.8 mm and weighs 150 grams. It comes with Gold, silver and black colour options according to the TENAA listings.

OPPO R11 Plus TENAA

The bigger Oppo R11 Plus comes with two variants listed here and here. It features a larger 6-inches TFT full-HD AMOLED display with 1080 × 1920 pixels resolution. It is powered by a  2.2GHz octa-core processor that is expected to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC with Adreno 512 GPU again. It comes with 6GB of RAM and comes with 64GB inbuilt storage capacity and also comes with MicroSD card expandable storage up to 128GB. It also runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box and will also support Dual-SIMs just like the Oppo R11.

The device also made its appearance on the AnTuTu benchmark revealing some of its key specifications. The AnTuTu listing confirms that the new Oppo R11 will be powered by the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. At AnTuTu, the Oppo R11 was listed with the listed specifications like a full-HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, Adreno 512 GPU and other features like 4GB RAM, and 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity.
