Gionee is all set to launch a couple of devices this year including the Gionee M6S Plus and the recently spotted Gionee S10 smartphone at TENAA. The company has just announced its upcoming official event scheduled for April 24 in China where the company will launch the Gionee M6S smartphone as confirmed by the released teasers by the company on their web account.
The teaser released by the company also confirms a secured fingerprint scanner on the front physical home button and an encrypted chipset to secure the personal data of its users just like the predecessor. The Gionee M6S Plus was recently spotted at TENAA with all of its specifications listed along with the images.
Gionee M6S Plus specs
The Gionee M6S Plus will feature a 6-inch full-HD AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon processor that might be the MediaTek Helio SOC. It comes with 6GB of RAM and has 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity and also supports expandable storage with the help of MicroSD card up to 128GB. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow-based Amigo OS on top and is expected to support Dual-SIMs. The device comes with onscreen buttons on the front with a fingerprint scanner on the physical home button.
The Gionee M6S Plus features a 12-megapixel rear Dual-tone LED flash camera along with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with a massive 6020mAh battery for around 2 days of backup with mixed usage and is the same as we saw in last year’s Gionee M6 Plus. Connectivity options include 4G LTE with VoLTE, Infrared, Bluetooth, USB, GPS and FM Radio support as well. It measures 163 × 80.8 × 8.2 mm and weighs 212 grams.
