Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) briefly listed by Amazon France for 279 Euros

Samsung is all set to launch its new Galaxy J series smartphone Galaxy J5 2017 having upgraded features from the predecessor Galaxy J5 2016 smartphone launched last year. The phone is still not officially launched but one of the retailer in France has officially listed the device on their website with all images and specifications. The new Samsung Galaxy J5 2017 is listed at Amazon France in Gold and Black color options and is priced at 279 Euros (around $315). Roland Quandt spotted the listings first and as these are listed unofficially by Amazon we can expect an official announcement anytime soon by Samsung. There is no new available about its global debut as of now.

The Galaxy J5 2017 is listed by Amazon France in Gold and Black color options with SM-J530F model numbers and the specifications of the device includes a 5.2-inches HD Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.6GHz 14nm 64-bit octa-core Exynos (7870) 7 Octa processor that also comes with a Mali-T830 GPU and advanced MFC. It comes with  2GB of RAM and has 16GBof inbuilt storage capacity available that is further expandable via MicroSD card slot up to 256GB storage. It runs on the Android Nougat OS out of the box and will support Hybrid Dual-SIMs in some regions as well. The device comes with new antenna lines on top and bottom of the back.

It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, LED flash and 1080p full HD recording and we also have a 13-megapixel front facing selfie cam also available for the selfie lovers. The Galaxy J5 2017 is powered by a Lithium ion 3000mAh battery ad connectivity options available are 4G LTE, Bluetooth, 3G, WiFi, NFC, GPS and other connectivity options as well. More details about the device will be available with its official launch by the smartphone maker.

The company is also expected to launch the bigger variant of the Galaxy J5 2017 called Galaxy J7 2017 that is expected to be available with a 5.5-inch full-HD sAMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with 1920 x1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos processor. it comes with 3GB of RAM and has 16GB of internal storage capacity that will have expandable storage capacity up 256GB via MicroSD card slot. It will also run on the Android 7 Nougat OS out of the box and is also expected to support Hybrid Dual-SIMs. The device will have a larger 3600mAh battery and will have 4G VoLTE, 3G, WiFI, GPS, Bluetooth etc connectivity options as well. The Galaxy J7 2017 is expected to be priced around 339 Euros (around $383)

The Galaxy J7 2016 was launched with a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870 processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, expandable storage up to 128GB with microSD card, Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, Dual SIM, a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash and 120-degree wide-angle lens, a 3300mAh battery, 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and NFC connectivity options.
